Our Script Library includes close to 600 titles amassed over the years. Some of these were purchased by Terrace Little Theatre, but most have been donated by members.
What if I have scripts I am willing to loan out?Skeena Zone Clubs and individual members who are willing to loan scripts from their personal libraries, please email
info@mytlt.ca or fax 638-0211 a list of your titles (including playwright and publisher) and how you wish to be contacted by loanee's. We will gladly do the rest.
How do I go about borrowing a script?TLT scripts are loaned for 2 weeks in-town, and 4 weeks out-of-town. Script pick up and return details will be worked out on a case by case basis. To submit a request to borrow script, simply use the email link in the `Owner Contact Info' field of the script record.
The TLT script library consists of only published scripts. We do not have any scripts available in electronic format. Copyright laws restrict us from electronically reproducing or copying scripts. Scripts, in the printed format as provided by the publisher, will only be loaned to Theatre BC and Skeena Zone members and individuals associated with a theatre group in Northwest British Columbia.
NOTE: In the case of scripts not owned by TLT, it is up to each owner to track loans and negotiate return dates.
Database TipsOur Script Database is self explanatory and very easy to use, thanks to a very smart design by TLT member Patrick McIntyre of Web North Marketing and Design. However, to ensure you make use its features as quickly as possible, here are a few tips:
- Single click on the play Title to display the full script record, including description and owner contact info.
- To sort by column, single click on the column heading.
- When sorted by Title or Playwright, use the Filter to display only records starting with the same first letter. To turn off the filter, set it back to None.
