Facilities Report - April 29 2009

Building Upgrades:

• Exterior beautification and on-site warehouse are priorities
• Marianne has offered to put together a submission proposal for pole removal in auditorium, outlining a few different options. Exact time of removal will depend on a number of things, but it is hoped to be done before 2010.
• Still looking into grant opportunities for exterior beautification. Estimates will be requested for new siding, along with storm windows for upper floor.
• Looking into finding historical photos of McColl Playhouse in order to find original appearance.
• Patrick looking into further options for auditorium seating. Also, committee is considering fundraisers for new seating or feasibility of refurbishing
• Garnett will be organizing a work party to put auditorium seating in for "Self Help."
• Looking into quotes on laying concrete, partners for construction of warehouse, and direction on proper location.
• Lean-to will wait other priorities addressed

Maintenance:

• When siding is being applied, fix flashing.
• Alan mentioned having a mason fix our chimney.
